If the shoe fits...

Joseph – abducted and sold by his brothers for profit. The landowner’s servants, then his own son, are killed that others may advance... Men and women used like slaves without freedom or not given a living wage so that others will gain. What’s new? When Jesus points out double standards to the chief priests and scribes in today’s gospel, they realise that ‘the shoe fits’ but they are not willing to wear it. Can I admit my unjust ways? Am I willing to do something about them?
