The authority of truth

John did not get his authority from “those in authority”. Integrity and truth are his authority. And the same is true for Jesus. Gerald Massey says that those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority, must find it difficult. When a true prophet speaks against power, there is no violence. Truth does not impose itself. It enters the mind quietly and with power. So speak the truth in love, or don’t open your mouth.
