The abundance of God

The miracle of the loaves and fishes illustrates for us the abundant love that God has for us. It foreshadows the fullness of that love delivered to us in the gift of the Eucharist. Today’s feast celebrates the Sacrament of Jesus gifting us his body and blood for the nourishing of our soul. In the miracle of today’s gospel reading, the people who were sitting ready received as much food as they wanted and there was plenty left over. Where do you experience the abundance of God?
