Being with

Today is about being in the silence that dying brings, in the stillness and our powerlessness. One of the responses of love for someone we love who is dying is simply and courageously to be with. The good of Good Friday is coming to know the sheer goodness of real love. There can be nothing phony about blood spilled and gasping for breath. Realise that Jesus chooses to do this for you, out of love. What is your response to this selfless love?
