Like the fig tree

The Lord is always patient with us and he does not forget us. Sometimes we can think that we have to prove our love of God all the time through prayer and petition. But the Lord does not forget us. We are always in the mind of God and he remembers more about us than we do ourselves. And he sees our struggle as human beings and is drawn in compassion to us, always desiring to heal and encourage us. Like waiting for the fig tree to produce fruit, the Lord is patient with us.
