Abiding in love

Abiding friendships and lasting marriages are some of the greatest gifts we can receive in life. We all value them and see in them a reflection of the life of heaven. Many people, however, do not have relationships such as these for all, or even part, of their lives. It is a cross they have to carry. To reach out in love to those who carry the sadness of ended relationships is to be Christ to them. Persevering in faith amid the trials of this life will bring us all one day to the perfect joy of heaven
