Beginning to see

The cure of the blind man happened in stages. So it is with most people: that breakthroughs, changes of heart and changing the bad habits of a lifetime so that one can come closer to God do not usually happen overnight. In fact, the process of changing may often involve one step forward and two steps back. Just as it took time for the waters of Noah’s flood to recede from the earth, so it takes time, God’s good time, for God to change us so that we become our best selves.
