Walk in his ways

The first reading presents us with an idyllic scene, where everything is perfect and all creation is balanced in harmony, for our first parents are innocent and perfectly contented before their fall. In contrast, the Gospel reading tells of a child possessed by a devil. Jesus restores the child to her first innocence. He longs to do the same for us so that we may walk fully in his ways. May we be open to the healing that the Lord offers to us.
