What Do I Value Most?

We’re told in the Gospel that Jesus loved the rich man and wanted him to follow him – but that wasn’t enough. The rich man did not have the freedom to let go of his possessions and so he couldn’t respond to Jesus’ invitation (and we hear nothing more about him). What do I value most? Is it my possessions or is it my relationships – and, in particular, my relationship with Jesus? When one has to take priority over the other, which will I choose?
