Seeing like Jesus

The disciples cannot comprehend what Jesus is saying. Their thinking is set on human things. At the centre of their consciousness is the pursuit of status it seems. There is little room for others. The Christian welcomes suffering people with compassion because they have welcomed Christ. The Gospel invites us to look with the eyes of Christ. With his eyes we look beyond the narrow and secure. Risk all and love like Jesus.
