My Lord and my God

While we rejoice in accepting Paul's description of us as members of the household of God built upon the foundations of the apostles and prophets, there may be times when we experience a stronger affinity with Thomas the doubter. Amid the attractions and distractions of our busy lives it is easy to forget the call of Jesus to “come follow me.” Let us open our hearts today to say “my Lord and my God” and listen to Jesus saying “blessed are you who have not seen and yet believe.”
