Discernment

What is true and what is false? This is the question Jesus leaves with us today, and today we answer it with our understanding of human nature. As far as I’m concerned, the false prophet is one who projects human ideas on God, and makes God too small. Very often the false prophet talks a lot and much of it is negative, fear-driven. The true prophets I’ve met don’t try to put God in a box, and they don’t tell other people what to believe. They simply live in the radiance of God’s love. When I’ve been with them I’ve experienced the presence of Jesus.
