Acts 2:36-41; Ps 33; John 20:11-18

Jesus has risen from the dead

John describes Mary Magdalen weeping outside the empty tomb. Mary who had accompanied Jesus to Calvary. Anointed his body. She is overcome with grief at the empty tomb. Then her reward to be the first to meet Jesus. Joyful news to tell the disciples - “I have seen the Lord.” Pray that we and our loved ones will one day meet Jesus.
