Belief and Repentance

Strengthened by his time in the wilderness and with the arrest of John the Baptist, Jesus knew the time had come for him to begin his public ministry. He begins with the words, “Repent, and believe the Good News.”

The Good News is God’s message of salvation. To believe in the message is to walk in covenant with God. When we stray from it, we return by way of repentance.

Every believer and each repentant sinner is a rainbow in God’s sight: seeing the rainbow, God remembers his covenant with them and will not fail to welcome and to bless.
