The Most Holy Name of Jesus

Lamb of God
Do you ever find yourself more comfortable talking with someone when you know their name? Knowing a person’s name lifts the veil of mystery, even though only slightly. Perhaps John the Baptist is not as specific about Jesus’ name as we might like, but he does give us a rich insight, calling Jesus “the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.” I can be grateful that Jesus, “the Chosen One of God,” takes away my sins.
