Christ comes for all

Isaiah makes a prophecy that all the nations of the earth will stream to the mountain of the Lord. The Centurion in today’s Gospel represents all people who have faith in Christ. Christ comes for each of us – to be part of the totality of our lives - not just the 'good bits'. He comes for people everywhere, especially the poor and the struggling. He comes to his creation to redeem it and bring it back from the slavery of sin and brokenness. Do we have the faith of the centurion ? Do we ask things of God with trust, accepting whatever he does for us ?
