What about martyrdom?

Being a Christian in Aotearoa New Zealand can be relatively comfortable. Being a martyr – a real one! – isn’t the threat that it is in some other countries, even today. Sometimes, though, putting others and their needs ahead of my own may seem like being martyred. After all, that is what Jesus calls me to! Do I need to practice the little acts of ‘martyrdom?’ How would I do that today?
