Good example is encouraging

The teacher who says to others, “Do this,” and does the opposite, loses credibility very quickly. We hope people will practice what they preach. Jesus often took issue with the Pharisees for this very reason. In a sense, we are all teachers – we say we are Christians, followers of Jesus. But sometimes our conduct is not worthy of the name Christian. And yet, we so depend on the good example of others, and the encouragement we receive from their good actions. What’s the quality of my example to others? Am I one who says one thing and does the other?
