All Saints

Apocalypse 7:2-4, 9-14; Psalm 24; 1 John 3:1-3; Matthew 5:1-12

Your faithful people

Today we rejoice in our ‘saints’ – citizens of Heaven. These are the saints we are named after, pray to often, read about. We number, too, all the good people we have known – our parents and friends and family members and acquaintances. Let’s take time today to thank God for them and their example of living good and faithful lives. We might think of how they have touched our own lives. And remember, our hope and our goal is to be with them in Heaven!
