All are welcome

God wants all of us to share in this banquet, no one is to be left out or excluded. Jesus makes use of the banquet image to convey God’s desire to nourish us. The offer is there but we need to respond. This means our wedding garment is to be worn, to admit that we are creatures and not the Creator is necessary so as to participate in this gift of God. In a world that promotes the self, this is a startling admission. Give yourself some time today to recall that you are a creature, cherished by the Creator.
