Humility and grace

How fitting that Mary, the one chosen as the mother of our Redeemer, the Christ of God, should be gifted the fruits of our redemption from the moment of her conception, and enjoy the fullness of God’s presence from the moment of her death. Who better to guide and protect Aotearoa New Zealand? Mary, your motherhood reaches to all who follow the way of your Son, Jesus, and your closeness to God is our strength and our hope. Watch over our Nation and our Church. Help us to imitate your example of humility and grace, and to acknowledge with gratitude the many good things God has done and is doing for us. Amen.
