God’s chosen

There is a uniform to be worn by all God’s ‘chosen’: kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance, forgiveness. And over all these they are to put on, like a cloak or overcoat, love. Love alone is what will bind together and protect the other garments. The officially named ‘Saints’ are our evidence that this uniform will never fade or go out of fashion. St Mary of the Cross, pray for us. You wore the uniform with courage, joy and faithfulness. Help me, and all God’s ‘chosen’ to do the same. Amen.
