Wheat and weeds

Life is not the same for those who encounter the reign of God. It is disruptive and disturbing of the way things are. This parable, and others, tell us of commitments reversed, of priorities examined and changed, of a new way of life emerging which counters many of the values of society. It conflicts and challenges the way of the Evil One. As I await the time when God’s reign is established over all, how am I enabled to grow like the wheat among weeds?
