Sheep among wolves

Disciples in Jesus’ alternative community are not to be naïve. Jesus’ mission of mercy and compassion to the poor and downtrodden disturbs the powerful, those set in their ways and even religious leaders. Disciples are sheep among wolves. They are to bring the promise of God’s reign of peace when sheep and wolves can live together (Isaiah 11:6). How am I part of this reign of peace? Am I a sheep or a wolf?
