Family of God

Jesus called together disciples who were to be the new ever-extending family of God. This way of being together calls on the rich experience of family love as a way to understand the love of God and the love among disciples. In the new family of God, total attachment to Jesus is required of disciples. How does my experience of the love of family take me more deeply into my total love of God and commitment to the new family of God, the Church?
