The third time

Perhaps, even though dawn had broken, the light was not yet very bright, and that was why it took time to realise it was Jesus standing there. On the other hand, this was the third time the risen Lord had appeared to them. Maybe they didn’t quite believe fully ... do we believe that he is present in those we meet? Do we recognise and greet him in them?
