Night had fallen

The beloved Son of God, the light of the nations, was betrayed by one whom he had chosen as his friend, and denied three times by another of his close friends. And there was sombre darkness. Are we loyal friends of the Lord? Are we good friends to others? When we are less than good friends, night falls again, and the world is a little darker.
