Week 4 of Lent

Out of Galilee

It is very easy for us to dismiss people because of where they came from, or their accent, or the school to which they went – ‘born overseas,’ for example; or ‘difficult accent to understand;’ or ‘not very well educated.’ The Pharisees dismissed Jesus because he came from Galilee. Lord, help me not to do the same kind of thing.
