Loving and liking

God loves everyone, be they good or evil. We marvel at, and praise God for, that gift, (although maybe we do wonder how God can love really bad people!) but then we realise God asks us to do exactly the same! That’s quite a different matter! Most of us have people whom we dislike, perhaps even intensely dislike. God does not ask us to like them; he asks us to love them. Who is that person for me? How might I show love to them? Perhaps a good way to start is to pray for them?
