Love your enemies

Jesus challenges us to be the best we can be, to find within us our best selves. That person is the one who is generous, hospitable and forgiving. ‘Love your enemies’ he admonishes us. That really is challenging. It flies in the face of the social and cultural values of the world we live in. But it also captures the very essence of Jesus’ message and is at the heart of the Christian way of life. Is there someone you might need to forgive or treat differently today?
