Disturbing the Waters

Every gift has a shadow side, and the shadow of high energy leadership can be a quick temper. In Galatians we can almost see Paul jumping up and down, screaming his frustration at the people. In Luke, Jesus offers a different solution, one of calm persistence: ask and you will receive, knock and the door will be opened. In our lives, the characteristics of Jesus and Paul can work together. Remember the story of the pool of Siloam? An angel had to disturb the waters before people could be healed. Disturbance is not always a bad thing.
