The layers of prayer

Jesus had been praying, and it’s likely his prayer was different to the one he offered his disciples. The two versions of The Lord’s Prayer in the gospels are practical instruction for pilgrims on the way and we should not take them lightly. Today, let us take one phrase and journey with it. Mine will be: ...forgive our sins, for we ourselves forgive each one who is in debt to us. I can spend a long time praying those words.
