1 Corinthians 6:1-11, Ps 149, Luke 6:12-19

A disciple prays in the hills over one night

Prayer is kneeling before the Father not knowing which 12 companions to choose.

Prayer is resting with open hands. Prayer is brutal honesty. Prayer is enduring the pain of being empty. Prayer is the opening of the tomb. Prayer is wanting to run away, but staying.

Prayer is a passover from death to life. Prayer is the crack of the in-breaking Word. Prayer is being shown things old and new from the storehouse (Matt 13:52). Prayer is being taught what to say by the Spirit (Luke 12:12). Prayer is Christ opening a holy wound.

Prayer is kneeling before the Father being shown which 12 companions to choose.
