Hospitality

The Gospel of Luke is noted for descriptions of meals and the attitudes of guests, hosts, those serving the meal -- and by implication the cooks and dishwashers! There is preparation time, socialising time, friendship and sharing. These could help us in our prayer and relationship time with God when, please God, the Master will put on an apron, sit us down at the table and wait on us. We must trust in God’s provident care and serve others with love.
