Jeremiah 2:1-3, 7-8, 12-13; Ps 36; Matthew 13:10-17

Open your heart

How receptive am I to God’s word? Do I listen and obey or do I hold back because listening creates a division in my heart between what I may want and what God wants? Closing ourselves off from God wastes the opportunity to come to know the wonders of his heavenly kingdom.

Let us pray for God’s blessing to come down upon all of us. May we have the grace to look with eyes that see his work, listen with ears that hear his word, act according to his will and speak from our hearts about God’s wonderful plan for us.
