Look with Christ’s eyes

If Jesus went for a walk with you today, what would he see? Would he see you care for the poorest of the poor? Would he like the choices you make, the way you treat your family, your neighbours, your faith community? What would he think of the society we have made for ourselves, where despite all our learning and opportunities we still have people living in sorrow and pain and poverty, while others have everything and waste the excess.

Dear God, thank you for giving me the gift of knowing you. May I live my life according to your example and join with others in my community who are also striving to follow your commandments.
