God’s kingdom is at hand!

How like the apostles can we be? Can we heal, as they could, with Jesus’ authority? Maybe some of us could help in practical ways – but we can all be part of a bigger effort. We can pray for others. We can bear witness to the healing power of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. We can pray for the Holy Spirit to refresh and renew us.

Loving Father, I place into your healing hands the needs of all who suffer.
