The enemy within

What prevents us from being ‘one’ is our denial of the fundamental call to be God’s people. The body of Christ in the world today. Labels of conservative/radical, Protestant/atheist separate us. This is the work of the evil one. ‘We are pilgrims journeying alongside one another. This means that we must have sincere trust in our fellow pilgrims, putting aside all suspicion or mistrust, and turn our gaze to what we are all seeking: the radiant peace of God’s face’ (Evangelii Gaudium 244). Let us pray that we will be one.
