All things are possible

The story of the loaves and the fishes is one of the favourite Gospel stories because it shows the depth of Jesus’ concern and love. He responds not only to our needs – he does so with overflowing generosity. So often, though, we hesitate to ask him for what we need because we think our demands are too great or are impossible to answer. The loaves and the fishes story reminds us that nothing is impossible for Jesus if we only have the courage to ask him.
