Woman of faith

Evangelising needs a cutting urgency which belief in the Resurrection supplies. Mary feels the absence of her friend in a feminine way. Jesus cuts into this femininity and strengthens it with his presence. She allows him to cut deeply until finally she twigs at the sound of her name. She calls him Master, and she does what he commands. Can I prepare to evangelise like this? Can I hear the urgency of Christ’s voice in my life cutting my heart, telling me not to cling, but to go and witness, through my love, that he is risen?
