Guilt and grace

I know that God is faithful to me even when I am not faithful to him. When I do not love God as I ought I feel my unfaithfulness. This is an opportunity for spiritual growth. Guilt is quickly healed when I enter the world of God’s grace. Then I am more part of God’s kingdom, remembering God’s goodness and perfect love. It is wise to love God, neighbour and self actively, as a package deal, and not prefer only one aspect of the commandment.
