Temptation

Jesus was fully human in all ways except sin. Therefore he could be tempted. Satan probed in those areas where he thought Jesus might be vulnerable. Surely he does the same with us. Satan well knows our individual vulnerabilities. Do we know them ourselves? We need to be aware of them in order to resist the tempter’s probing. Temptation is always with us and we need God’s help and protection to deal with it. “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
