Be merciful, O Lord

We stand in need of God’s mercy as David did. Despite our sinfulness and our capacity for doing evil, God’s kingdom grows, in God’s way and in God’s good time, in a similar way to that in which the fields produce a harvest and the tiny mustard seed grows into a sizeable shrub.
