THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD

Isaiah 40:1-5, 9-11; Ps 104; Titus 2:11-14, 3:4-7; Luke 3:15-16, 21-22

My favour rests on you

As Jesus is beloved of the Father, so are we loved. We were chosen before time began to be baptised ‘with the Holy Spirit and fire’ to give witness to God’s love and to ‘have no ambition except to do good,’ This prompts me to ask: what are some of the things in my life that ‘do not lead to God,’ and what am I going to do about them?
