I must grow smaller

John the Baptist appears in tomorrow’s Gospel as well as today’s. He points the way for us in living as followers of Christ. He knew that his life was not all about him; it was about bearing witness to the Son of God made man. So also for us – our task is simply, no more and no less, to bear witness to God’s love in Christ.
