Standing upright

“The woman was bent double for eighteen years and quite unable to stand upright. ‘Woman you are rid of your infirmity,’ and Jesus laid his hands on her. At once she straightened up and she glorified God.” Imagine yourself in the presence of Jesus. He knows and understands what is weighing you down, your burdens. He gently lays his hands on you and you feel lighter. Talk with Jesus about what it’s like to be free. Give thanks to God as you sit in this contemplative space with Jesus.
