Loving patience

In today’s Gospel we read the parable of the fig tree which doesn’t bear fruit. The owner is impatient and wants to cut it down. Instead, the gardener asks for a reprieve, one more year. Jesus looks after us just as the gardener of this fig tree. He is patient and does everything possible to help us grow in his love. Talk to Jesus about any area of your life that is unproductive or needs nurturing. Let Jesus love you back into life.
