Jesus went to a lonely place.

Imagine accompanying Jesus to a quiet place and watching him pray. What do you notice? How does Jesus seem to pray? Prayer sustains his relationship with Abba. Tell Jesus why you pray or what helps you to pray.

Last year, I was privileged to live for a month in a hermitage on the border road dividing Ireland from Northern Ireland. The solitude was a wonderful gift to enable prayer; the location was beautiful yet the border road held its history and current uncertainties. Prayer is a mix of mystery and reality. Pray for a suffering part of the world today.
