Thou shalt not!

Again, the pharisees accused Jesus of “work” on the sabbath, and again, Jesus attempted to offer a common sense approach to the law. Actually, the ideals of Jewish law made sense: they were for the survival of the tribe, and to bring people closer to God. But instead of seeing law as guidance, the pharisees were actually worshipping rules and regulations. They were making idols out of their own teachings. I pray that Jesus will have a conversation with the pharisee in me.
