The quiet helper

Many people go about quietly doing good without other people knowing. Unobtrusively they give time and energy to reach out to those less fortunate. This is the Christian way, not to trumpet our good works to others. It means to truly serve others for their own sake, not for any praise or reward. Honours and accolades only gather dust. A generous, prayerful heart always burns brightly before the Lord. It is he who sees all and it is he who will reward us.
